For years, the studio had been building up to this epic team-up, promising to bring together Earth’s mightiest heroes for a showdown against the villainous Thanos. As promised, the film delivered on this promise and much more, cementing itself as one of the most ambitious superhero movies ever made.
The movie opens with Thanos and his minions attacking the Asgardian ship, in possession of the Tesseract. This leads to Thor being rescued by the Guardians of the Galaxy, while Thanos continues his search for the six Infinity Stones. Meanwhile, on Earth, Tony Stark aka Iron Man and Doctor Strange are approached by Spider-Man, who informs them of an alien invasion in New York. This leads to the formation of a team that includes Iron Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop Thanos and his plans to wipe out half of all life in the universe.
The film culminates in a battle in Wakanda, where the Avengers and their allies take on Thanos and his army. Ultimately, Thanos manages to collect all six Infinity Stones and snaps his fingers, erasing half of all life in the universe, including several beloved Marvel characters.

One standout is the dynamic between Iron Man and Spider-Man, with the former acting as a mentor to the latter. Additionally, Thor’s character arc is also noteworthy, with the character facing personal loss and grief. Gamora and Nebula’s relationship with Thanos is also explored, with their abusive upbringing and loyalty to their father being a significant factor in the film’s plot.

The movie’s use of CGI to bring Thanos to life is particularly noteworthy, with the villain being both menacing and human-like. The battle scenes are also expertly choreographed, with each hero getting their moment to shine.
